The Global Year of Africa: New Faces of African Research at MSU

Come listen and be inspired by the next generation of MSU scholars doing research in Africa! Exchange ideas with these leading experts on topics from public health in Uganda, to food security in Nigeria, to Lesotho's development in southern Africa. This panel will give you a taste of MSU's ongoing commitment to African research and partnership — as we do research together that will make a difference.

Presented by: Saweda Liverpool-Tasie, Assistant Professor, Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics; John Aerni-Flessner, Assistant Professor, Residential College in the Arts and Humanities; Mieka Smart, Assistant Professor, Flint Public Health; Ruth Mbabazi, Research Assistant Professor, Department of Entomology; Sarah Evans, Assistant Professor, Department of Integrative Biology; and African Studies Director Jamie Monson will serve as the panel moderator.
