Michigan State University shares a deep connection with Korea, built through academic collaborations, global partnerships and a thriving alumni network. The Global Spartan Reunion promises to build upon these relationships by bringing together Spartans from around the world for engaging conversations and memorable experiences when they meet in Seoul, South Korea, May 17-18.
Global Spartans and friends are invited to gather for a weekend of connection, celebration and inspiration. The event will feature networking opportunities with fellow alumni, engaging sessions led by MSU faculty and global thought leaders, and special appearances by university leadership, including President Kevin Guskiewicz and Vice Provost and Dean for International Studies and Programs Titus Awokuse.
Seoul is home to more than 2,000 Spartan alumni, including Konkuk University President Jong Pil Won, who will host the event on the university’s beautiful campus. Located in the heart of the city, Konkuk University offers a fitting venue for Spartans to reconnect and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
The weekend itinerary includes a concert featuring alumni from the MSU College of Music, educational sessions, and opportunities to experience the culture and cuisine of Korea.
